Lisa Ray (1980-)
Lisa Ray was born in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. After completing her studies at the Alma-Ata Art School art school, she worked from 1994-97 as a teacher of painting at the House of Works and Studios at the Union of Architects. She then worked for two years in the 'X-gallery' under the artistic direction of G. Serdyukov. During this time she actively exhibited in this gallery and participated in exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, of which she later was to become a member.
She has participated in many art exhibitions, and her paintings are in private collections in the United States and Germany.
Since 2016 she has been living and working in two cities, Almaty and St. Petersburg.
